We process personal information only for legitimate business, contractual, customer-service, security and legal purposes and in accordance with applicable laws of Nepal.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any privacy or consumer right that cannot legally be limited.
The information Fabdale collects depends on how you use our website and services.
We may collect your name, mobile or telephone number, email address, password-related authentication information, saved delivery addresses and account preferences when you create or use a Fabdale account.
Passwords must be protected through appropriate secure authentication methods and must not be made available to ordinary Fabdale personnel in readable form.

To deliver an order, we may collect the recipient's name, mobile number, delivery address, landmark or delivery instructions and location information that you voluntarily provide for delivery purposes.
We use such information only to the extent reasonably necessary to process, coordinate and complete your delivery or resolve a delivery-related issue.
Payments may be processed through payment service providers or payment channels available through Fabdale.
Depending on the payment method, Fabdale may receive information such as payment status, payment reference number, transaction amount, payment date and the payment provider used.
Fabdale does not intentionally collect or retain complete banking, card, wallet or other financial credentials where those credentials are not required for Fabdale to lawfully process the transaction.
When you contact Fabdale, we may retain your communications with us, including your name, contact details, order number, complaint or inquiry, photographs, supporting documents, requested resolution and our response.
This information helps us investigate and resolve customer-service, return, refund, warranty, delivery and grievance matters.
Where you submit a return, exchange, refund or warranty request, we may collect information necessary to verify and process the request, including photographs or videos of the product, reason for the request, product condition, pickup information, inspection records and refund details.
Where Fabdale permits product reviews, we may collect your review, rating and information necessary to verify that you purchased the relevant product.
If a review is publicly displayed, Fabdale should display only information reasonably necessary to identify it as a genuine or verified-purchase review. Your private contact information, delivery address or payment information will not be published as part of a product review.
When you use Fabdale.com, our systems may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, session information, security logs, login activity and cookie identifiers where these are necessary for website operation, fraud prevention, security, troubleshooting or approved analytics.
Fabdale may use personal information to operate your account, process and confirm orders, process or verify payments, prepare invoices, deliver products, communicate order and delivery updates, handle cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds, administer warranties, provide customer support, investigate complaints and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
We may also process information where reasonably necessary to secure Fabdale's systems, maintain legally required records, comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, e-commerce or other regulatory obligations, respond to lawful requests from competent authorities and improve the reliability of our services.
We will not intentionally use personal information for an unrelated or incompatible purpose without an appropriate legal basis or consent where consent is required.
Fabdale is required to maintain the confidentiality of personal information connected with electronic commerce.
We will not disclose or use confidential customer information except where permitted or required under applicable Nepal law or where reasonably necessary to perform the transaction requested by the customer.
For example, information necessary to complete an order may be exchanged between Fabdale, the customer, an authorized payment provider and a delivery or logistics provider involved in completing that transaction.
Such sharing does not authorize those parties to use customer information for unrelated purposes.
Fabdale may share only the information reasonably necessary with trusted service providers involved in operating our e-commerce services.
A delivery partner may, for example, receive the customer's or recipient's name, telephone number, delivery address, relevant delivery instructions and shipment information required to deliver an order.
A payment service provider may process transaction information required to complete, confirm or refund a payment.
Technology providers may process limited information where they provide services such as website hosting, email, messaging, security, backups or other technical infrastructure.
Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and legal advisers may receive information where reasonably necessary for legitimate professional or legal purposes.
Fabdale may also provide information to a government authority, regulator, law-enforcement body or court where disclosure is required or authorized by applicable law.
Fabdale does not sell or rent customer personal information to third parties for their independent advertising or data-broker purposes.
Fabdale may use independent courier or logistics providers to physically deliver customer orders.
For this purpose, Fabdale may provide only the information reasonably necessary to complete delivery, such as recipient name, phone number, delivery address, delivery instructions and shipment information.
Delivery partners are not authorized by Fabdale to use this information for unrelated advertising, unauthorized solicitation or independent commercial purposes.
Fabdale takes reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect customer information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
Where required by applicable Nepal e-commerce rules, protected customer information must be maintained using appropriate security and encryption measures.
Fabdale's security controls should include secure transmission of information, appropriate protection of stored sensitive information, secure password handling, restricted administrative access, access controls, backups, security monitoring and appropriate system-security testing.
No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, Fabdale will take reasonable steps to identify, prevent and respond to security risks affecting customer information.
If Fabdale becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, it will investigate and respond to the incident and make any notification required by applicable Nepal law or competent authorities.
Fabdale does not intend to keep personal information indefinitely without a legitimate reason.
Information is retained according to the purpose for which it was collected and applicable legal, accounting, tax, e-commerce, consumer-protection, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements.
Transaction records, invoices, complaint and grievance records and other records required under Nepal's e-commerce framework will be retained for at least the legally required retention period.
Where the applicable Electronic Commerce Directive requires relevant transaction, invoice or complaint records to be preserved for five years, Fabdale will maintain those records accordingly.
Some records may need to be retained for longer where another applicable law, tax requirement, customs requirement, legal proceeding, regulatory instruction or unresolved dispute requires it.
Closing a Fabdale account therefore does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of historical invoices, completed-order records, payment records, return/refund records, fraud-prevention records or grievance records that Fabdale is legally required or reasonably entitled to retain.
When information is no longer reasonably required, Fabdale should securely delete, anonymize or otherwise restrict its use as appropriate.
Fabdale customers should be able to review and update available personal information through their account or by contacting Fabdale.
You may request correction of inaccurate account information.
In accordance with applicable Nepal e-commerce law, Fabdale will provide customers with a facility to enter and amend their identifying information and to deactivate or close the identifying account source associated with the platform.
Account closure is subject to Fabdale's legal obligation to preserve transaction, invoice, complaint and other records that must remain on file.
A registered customer may request account deactivation through the account-security settings or by contacting Fabdale through the available support mechanism.
After deactivation, the customer should no longer be able to use the account in the ordinary manner.
Information that Fabdale is required to retain for legal, accounting, transaction, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes may remain securely stored even after account deactivation.
Deactivation does not authorize Fabdale to continue using the customer's information for unrelated purposes.
Order confirmations, payment information, delivery updates, security messages, return/refund information and grievance communications are transactional communications necessary to provide the service requested by the customer.
Promotional marketing is different.
Where Fabdale sends optional promotional email, SMS or other marketing communications that require customer choice or consent, customers should be provided with a reasonable method to unsubscribe or change their marketing preference.
Choosing not to receive promotional marketing will not prevent the customer from receiving necessary communications relating to an existing order, payment, delivery, account-security matter or customer complaint.
Marketing consent should not be made a mandatory condition for placing an ordinary order unless legally justified.
Fabdale.com may use cookies and similar technologies required for essential functions such as login, account security, shopping-cart operation, checkout, fraud prevention and maintaining website sessions.
Fabdale may also use analytics or marketing technologies where these have been enabled.
Where optional tracking technologies are used and customer choice is required, Fabdale will provide appropriate information and controls through its cookie or privacy-preference mechanism.
Customers should be able to continue using essential website functions even when optional cookies are declined, except where a particular optional feature genuinely requires that technology.
More information about active cookies and tracking technologies may be provided through Cookie Preferences on Fabdale.com.
Fabdale.com may contain links to external websites, payment providers, logistics tracking services or other third-party services.
Where you independently leave Fabdale.com and use another provider's website or service, that provider may apply its own privacy practices.
Fabdale is not responsible for independent data processing performed by an unrelated third party outside Fabdale's control.
This provision does not remove Fabdale's responsibility for personal information that Fabdale itself provides to a service provider as part of fulfilling a customer transaction.
Some technology, hosting, communications or service providers used by Fabdale may operate infrastructure outside Nepal.
Where personal information is processed or stored outside Nepal, Fabdale will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information is handled only for legitimate purposes and with protections appropriate to applicable Nepal law and Fabdale's contractual arrangements.
Fabdale will not use international processing arrangements to avoid obligations imposed by Nepal law.
Information submitted privately during checkout, payment, delivery or customer support will not automatically become public.
Where a customer voluntarily submits a review, question or other content intended for publication, Fabdale may display that content together with limited information necessary to provide context, such as a first name, initial or “Verified Purchase” designation.
Fabdale should not publicly display a customer's phone number, email address, home address, delivery address, payment information or private grievance information as part of a review.
Fabdale's ordinary e-commerce service is not specifically designed to collect unnecessary personal information from children.
Where a minor uses Fabdale and applicable law requires the involvement or consent of a parent, guardian or legally authorized person, the relevant requirement should be followed.
Fabdale does not intentionally request sensitive personal information from children merely for advertising or profiling purposes.
Fabdale may preserve or disclose information where required or authorized by applicable Nepal law, a competent regulatory authority, court order or lawful investigation.
Where legally permitted, Fabdale will limit such disclosure to information reasonably responsive to the lawful requirement.
A government or legal disclosure does not authorize unrelated public disclosure of customer information.
Depending on the nature of your request and applicable law, you may contact Fabdale to review or correct your account information, update your contact or delivery details, change available marketing preferences, deactivate your account, raise a concern about how your personal information has been used or report suspected unauthorized access to your account or information.
Fabdale may need to verify your identity before acting on a request involving account information or confidential customer records.
Fabdale may refuse or limit a request where complying would violate a legal retention requirement, affect another person's rights, interfere with an investigation or otherwise be prohibited by applicable law. Where appropriate, Fabdale will explain the reason.
If you believe Fabdale has improperly collected, used, disclosed or protected your personal information, you may submit a grievance through Fabdale's designated grievance mechanism.
Fabdale will register eligible grievances and provide an acknowledgement or reference number.
Privacy complaints will be investigated through Fabdale's grievance process and handled within the period required by applicable Nepal law.
You also retain any right available under Nepal law to approach the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection, another competent authority or a court.
Fabdale may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, data practices or legal obligations change.
The current version will display its Last Updated date and version number.
Where a change materially affects the way customer information is used, Fabdale will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
A new version of this Privacy Policy will not be used to retroactively authorize an unlawful use of information previously collected.
