Delivery Policy

Last Updated: 2026-08-25

At Fabdale, we aim to make delivery clear, convenient and transparent from the time you place an order until it reaches you.

This Delivery Policy explains delivery availability, charges, estimated delivery time, tracking, delayed or failed deliveries, and Fabdale's Open. Check & Accept service.

This Policy forms part of Fabdale's Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in this Policy limits any consumer right or remedy available under applicable Nepal law.

1. Delivery Coverage

Fabdale delivers orders to serviceable locations within Nepal.

Delivery availability may depend on:

  • district, city or locality;
  • courier or logistics coverage;
  • accessibility of the address;
  • product type or parcel size; and
  • operational or legal restrictions.

The delivery availability shown for your location during checkout will apply to your order.

Fabdale does not guarantee delivery to every address in Nepal where courier service is unavailable.

2. Delivery Information & Charges

Before you confirm your order, Fabdale will display or make available the relevant delivery information, including:

  • delivery location;
  • applicable delivery charge;
  • estimated delivery date or period; and
  • available delivery method.

Delivery charges may vary according to destination, parcel size or weight, delivery service and applicable promotional offers.

Fabdale will not intentionally add an undisclosed compulsory delivery charge after an order has been confirmed.

Where Free Delivery is offered, any applicable conditions will be clearly disclosed.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

The estimated delivery date or delivery period displayed during checkout forms part of your order information.

Fabdale will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the stated period.

The estimated delivery information may also appear in your:

  • order confirmation;
  • My Orders section;
  • tracking page; or
  • SMS, email or other order communication.

If a material change to the agreed delivery arrangement becomes necessary, Fabdale will communicate the change and obtain the customer's agreement where required.

4. Fabdale's Responsibility for Delivery

Fabdale may use independent courier or logistics partners to physically deliver orders.

However, the use of a delivery partner does not remove responsibilities that applicable Nepal law places on Fabdale as the e-commerce seller.

If there is a problem with your Fabdale delivery, you may contact Fabdale Customer Support. You will not be required to resolve a valid Fabdale order dispute independently with the courier.

Open. Check & Accept

Open your parcel. Check your product. Accept with confidence.

5. How Open. Check & Accept Works

Where Open. Check & Accept is available for your order, you may inspect the delivered product in the presence of the delivery representative before completing the applicable acceptance process.

The process is simple:

1. Open — Open the parcel in the presence of the delivery representative.

2. Check — Inspect the product according to the permitted checks described below.

3. Accept — If the product appears correct and there is no obvious qualifying problem, complete the applicable acceptance and payment process.

If you identify an obvious qualifying problem, inform the delivery representative immediately and follow the applicable rejection procedure.

Availability of Open. Check & Accept may depend on the delivery location, product category, delivery method and logistics partner.

6. What You Can Check

During Open. Check & Accept, you may reasonably inspect:

  • whether the correct product was delivered;
  • colour;
  • visible fabric or material;
  • design or pattern;
  • size label;
  • quantity;
  • visible damage, stain, tear or breakage;
  • missing items or components; and
  • any obvious material difference between the product ordered and the product delivered.

Minor colour differences caused by photography, lighting or device-display settings should not by themselves be treated as a product mismatch unless the difference is material.

7. Inspection Is Not Trial Wear

Open. Check & Accept is an inspection service, not a clothing fitting or trial-wear service.

During doorstep inspection, customers may not:

  • wear the garment for fitting;
  • wash the product;
  • remove permanent tags;
  • alter the product;
  • stain or damage it;
  • apply perfume, cosmetics or other substances; or
  • materially use the product.

Customers may visually inspect the product, feel the fabric where appropriate, check its size label and verify its visible characteristics without changing the product's condition.

8. Rejecting a Product During Open. Check & Accept

If an obvious qualifying problem is identified during inspection, such as a wrong product, wrong size label, visible damage, missing item or material difference from the order, inform the delivery representative before accepting the parcel.

Fabdale or its delivery partner may record:

  • order number;
  • product involved;
  • reason for rejection;
  • date and time; and
  • photographs or other reasonable evidence where appropriate.

The parcel will then be handled according to Fabdale's applicable return or rejection procedure.

For an eligible Cash on Delivery order validly rejected during Open. Check & Accept because of a qualifying issue, the customer should not be required to pay for the rejected goods.

For prepaid orders, an applicable replacement or refund will be processed according to Fabdale's Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.

9. Your Rights After Accepting Delivery

Open. Check & Accept is intended to identify obvious issues visible at delivery.

Some defects or problems may not reasonably be identifiable during a short doorstep inspection.

Accepting the parcel therefore does not mean that you waive applicable rights relating to:

  • hidden defects;
  • defects discovered after reasonable inspection;
  • material misdescription;
  • warranty claims;
  • qualifying returns;
  • refunds; or
  • other remedies available under Nepal law.

Open. Check & Accept supplements rather than replaces Fabdale's Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.

10. Order Tracking

Where tracking is available, customers can follow the delivery progress through:

My Account → My Orders → Track Order

and/or through tracking information supplied by Fabdale or its logistics partner.

Tracking statuses may include:

  • Confirmed;
  • Processing;
  • Dispatched;
  • In Transit;
  • Out for Delivery;
  • Delivery Attempted;
  • Delivered; or
  • Returned.

Tracking information is intended to help customers follow their shipment but does not replace the delivery commitment applicable to the order.

11. Delivery Address, Recipient & Changes

Customers must provide a reasonably complete and accurate:

  • recipient name;
  • mobile number;
  • delivery address; and
  • landmark or delivery instruction where necessary.

A customer may authorize another person to receive the order on their behalf.

Where Open. Check & Accept applies, the authorized recipient should also be authorized to inspect, accept or validly reject the parcel and make Cash on Delivery payment where applicable.

If you need to change the delivery address, recipient or delivery arrangement, contact Fabdale before dispatch.

Changes after dispatch may not always be possible and may affect the delivery time or charge. Any material change will be communicated before an additional charge is applied where customer agreement is required.

12. Delivery Attempts & Redelivery

Fabdale or its delivery partner may contact the customer where reasonably necessary to complete delivery.

A delivery attempt may fail if:

  • the customer or authorized recipient is unavailable;
  • the customer cannot reasonably be contacted;
  • the address is materially incorrect or incomplete;
  • access to the location is not reasonably possible; or
  • another genuine obstacle prevents delivery.

Where appropriate, another delivery attempt or redelivery may be arranged.

If additional delivery is required solely because of incorrect information or repeated customer unavailability, Fabdale may charge a reasonable additional delivery cost where legally permitted and disclosed to the customer beforehand.

13. Delayed Delivery

Fabdale will make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the predetermined delivery period.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and provide updated delivery information where available.

Delays may occasionally result from circumstances such as:

  • floods, landslides or severe weather;
  • road closures;
  • transport disruption;
  • strikes or shutdowns;
  • government restrictions;
  • major telecommunications failure; or
  • other genuine events beyond reasonable control.

Where delayed delivery gives a customer a cancellation, refund or other remedy under applicable Nepal law, Fabdale will honour that right.

A delay will not automatically become the customer's responsibility merely because Fabdale used a third-party courier.

14. Lost, Damaged, Wrong or Incomplete Deliveries

If an order is:

  • confirmed lost before valid delivery;
  • visibly damaged;
  • missing an item;
  • delivered with the wrong product; or
  • materially inconsistent with the confirmed order,

please contact Fabdale promptly.

Where Open. Check & Accept is available and the issue is visible at delivery, report it before accepting the parcel where reasonably possible.

Fabdale may review packing records, shipment details, photographs, courier records and other reasonable evidence.

Where the claim is valid, Fabdale will provide the applicable replacement, return, refund or other remedy.

Customers are not required to independently recover the value of a valid Fabdale order from Fabdale's courier.

15. Proof of Delivery

Fabdale or its authorized delivery provider may use reasonable methods to confirm delivery, such as:

  • recipient signature;
  • OTP;
  • electronic acknowledgement;
  • Cash on Delivery payment confirmation;
  • courier delivery status;
  • customer acceptance; or
  • other appropriate proof-of-delivery methods.

Delivery records may be retained for legitimate transaction, security, fraud-prevention, legal and dispute-resolution purposes according to Fabdale's Privacy Policy and applicable law.

16. Cancellation & Returns

Where available, an eligible order may be cancelled before dispatch according to Fabdale's Cancellation Policy.

After dispatch or delivery, applicable requests will be handled according to the relevant:

  • Delivery Policy;
  • Return, Exchange & Refund Policy;
  • Warranty Policy; and
  • applicable Nepal law.

A product's delivery does not by itself remove any legally available return, exchange, refund or warranty right.

17. Fair Use of Delivery Services

Customers are expected to use Fabdale's delivery and Open. Check & Accept services honestly.

Fabdale may investigate patterns involving genuine evidence of:

  • intentionally false orders;
  • fraudulent delivery claims;
  • product substitution;
  • intentional product damage during inspection; or
  • repeated unjustified refusal intended to misuse the service.

Reasonable action may be taken against proven fraud or serious abuse in accordance with applicable law.

A customer will not be penalized merely for legitimately refusing an incorrect, damaged, defective or materially misdescribed product or for exercising a lawful consumer right.
